EDDY
Edward Bbira, BA Hons. BIFA (Bachelor Industrial and Fine Arts, Makerere University Kampala), is currently pursuing an MA in Art Therapy at Roehampton University, London. He has had experience as a trainee art therapist at the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service at St. Ann’s Hospital London. He is currently on a training placement at the Forensic Unit West London Mental Health Trust. He holds a foundation course certificate in Art Therapy from the British Association of Art Therapists. He is the director of Kampa Arts Limited, (graphic arts company with links to children’s charities e.g American Refugee Committee).
Edward is an artist specializing in painting, graphics and photography and has practiced in Uganda for over 7 years. He initiated an arts and crafts programme mobilizing and rescuing homeless children through arts activities in Kampala city for 6 years in conjunction with Cornerstone Develo...
